Children’s Choir
Children’s Choirs are available for Children 3 years of age – 5th grade.
This group focuses on teaching about the love of God through the gift of singing and instruments.
They meet on Wednesdays evenings.
FBC Worship Band
The FBC Worship Band is typically comprised of a team of vocalists and a standard Rhythm section (keyboard, bass, guitar, drums). The goal of this group, and with all ensembles, is to embrace multiple styles of music. That being the case, opportunities for different types of instruments are GREATLY encouraged and welcomed. All you have to do is talk to Kyle! Rehearsals are from 7pm -9pm on Tuesday nights and are required in order to lead in worship. The group is open to volunteers dependent upon contacting Kyle Murphy.
Generations Handbells
This ensemble is comprised of Youth and Adult ringers. We own a 4 octave set of Schulmerich handbells and 3 octaves of Choir Chimes. We ring in worship at various times throughout the year as well as in occasional community events. We also participate in the NC Baptist Handbell Festival annually. This ensemble rehearses on Sunday afternoons. For more information about this ensemble please contact Kyle Murphy.
Children’s Handbells
Children’s Handbells are available for student’s 1st – 5th grade. This group is divided into two ensembles, 1-2 grade and 3-5 grade. The younger students learn basic ringing techniques using Handchimes. The older Students ring using the Handbells. Both groups participate in leading worship throughout the year.
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary choir shares in worship leadership on a weekly basis. This is available for all singers High School age and up. We sing a wide variety of choral music from multiple genres. This ensemble rehearses on Wednesday evening following Bible Study at 7:30 pm. Childcare is available until 8pm. For more information about this ensemble please contact Kyle Murphy.
Audio-Visual Team
This team is responsible for the technology and production components of Sunday Morning Worship and various events throughout the year. This includes making sure the Microphones and other technology is ready to go on Sunday mornings and the worship service is recorded. There is training available for this team. Basic computer skills and the ability to listen critically is helpful. Please Contact Kyle Murphy for more information. We would love to have you!
